Leading leaders is a journey of continuous evolution. It requires humility, openness and, above all, a commitment to excellence and innovation. As a hospitality leader, my greatest satisfaction is seeing the leaders around me grow and develop, taking our industry to new horizons.

Throughout my career in the hotel industry, I have learned that leading is far more than guiding teams or managing resources; it is about inspiring and being inspired, continuously learning, and challenging the status quo. But what happens when your team members are leaders themselves? Leading leaders becomes a sophisticated art: a delicate balance between providing direction and allowing autonomy, between teaching and learning, and not all leaders are aware of this.   At the heart of hospitality, innovation is key. I am not referring only to technology or new marketing trends, but to innovating in how we lead. Leading leaders means understanding that each person has unique potential. In my experience, I have seen how cross-functional teams, led by individuals with distinct yet complementary visions, generate more robust and creative business strategies. This diversity of thought is crucial to staying ahead in such a competitive market.

The Importance of Empowerment

One valuable lesson is empowerment. When you lead leaders, your role transforms. You stop being a director and become a facilitator.

My goal has always been to create an environment where decision-making, accountability, and creativity flow naturally. According to a Gallup study, empowered teams show a 21% increase in profitability. This figure highlights the importance of delegating and trusting.
