Lead Hospitality

Insights from the Second Customer-Centric Hotel Marketing Coaching Session

THE IDEA

The second hotel marketing coaching session in Madrid brought together hospitality professionals to explore customer-centric marketing, develop projects tailored to their businesses and prepare for the next session on 29 September.

Yesterday, I delivered the session for the 2nd Coaching for Hotels programme in Madrid. Attendance and participation were a success. It is interesting to see how participants show an interest from the outset in something that sounds familiar to them, although they are unaware of its potential. Throughout the session, they discover the possibilities that Customer-Oriented Marketing offers them, and at that point their interest lies in learning how to put it into practice. There comes a point when starting the change process seems overwhelming, and participants begin to question things they believe they are managing correctly, only to suddenly discover how easy it can be with the right tools and methodology. At this stage, participants begin their projects, tailored to the needs of their businesses, and will interact with one another and with us to resolve any questions they may have. They will then present their projects, which we will discuss at the next session, to be held on 29 September. I must mention that the Hotel’s organisation was outstanding and that everything from the guest rooms and meeting-room service to the food and beverage offering and the team have provided the ideal setting for these sessions.
