Not long ago, while talking with colleagues, we were debating how we envisaged the future of the hotel sector and, in particular, hotel marketing and distribution. The evolution in these areas has been rapid, and what once seemed like futuristic trends has now become a reality reshaping the hospitality landscape.

While no one has a crystal ball to predict the future with certainty, data-driven analyses and projections allow us to form an informed view of what lies ahead. In 2025, the hotel market is undergoing a series of transformations driven by digitalisation, hyper-personalisation and the diversification of sales channels. What was once simply about selling beds now involves managing experiences, data and technology in an ecosystem that is more competitive and fragmented than ever.
