Lost Sleep, Stolen Time... and These Pages to Show for It

THE IDEA

These pages were not written at convenient times. They were written when the house was quiet. When the clock showed hours that should have been reserved for rest. When sleep felt heavy—but conviction weighed more. There was time taken from exhaustion. There were shorter weekends. There were moments when simply being present would have been easier than continuing to build this. Nothing you read here is accidental. It is the result of discipline when giving up would have been easier. Of commitment when nobody was watching. Of believing that some ideas are worth the price they demand. Thank you for valuing not only the words, but also what it took to write them.

Some pages are written.
And some pages are lived.

Lead Hospitality was not born as a digital project. It began as a personal concern. As that persistent feeling that Hospitality deserved a space to speak without pretence, without corporate rhetoric, without empty phrases.

Every article you read here is not an improvised piece of writing. It is hours of work. Sometimes days. Sometimes weeks of quiet reflection. It is the early hours, when the hotel sleeps and the general manager is still thinking. It is weekends when, instead of switching off, I open my laptop again because an idea will not leave me alone.

Writing about strategy, leadership, revenue, service culture or real profitability is not about copying trends. It is about comparing, analysing, questioning and organising experience. It is about trying to turn years of decisions—right and wrong—into useful knowledge for other hoteliers.

And that comes at a cost.

It comes at the cost of time that cannot be recovered.
It comes at the cost of mental energy.
It comes at the cost of choosing to write when you could be resting.

For a long time, I did it openly. Without limits. Thinking of nothing beyond sharing. Then one day, I looked at the statistics and saw nearly 2,000 daily visits. Professionals reading from different countries. General managers writing to express their thanks. Teams discussing articles in internal meetings. Students finding guidance here.

360° Hotel Intelligence

Your hotel already generates the data. HotelGEX turns it into decisions.

A platform built from real hotel operations to connect guests, Customer Journey, operations, Revenue, F&B, Groups & Events and Management within one intelligent context.

It was exciting. And also overwhelming.

Because I realised that this was no longer a personal blog. It was a responsibility.

Maintaining in-depth, independent and honest content is not free. I did not want to turn the website into a storefront full of banners. I did not want to accept sponsorships that would influence the message. I did not want to dilute its essence to generate more clicks.

I wanted to protect its value.

I looked for solutions. Tools that would allow me to balance access and sustainability. I found nothing that understood what I needed: a respectful, intelligent system tailored to specialised content in strategic Hospitality.

And that is how Content Revenue Engine (CRE) was born.

content revenue engine

It was not born out of technological ambition.
It was born out of conviction.

It was designed from the ground up. With the aim of enabling free reading without devaluing the content. Of offering Pay Per Post without disrupting the reader experience. Of integrating memberships without creating friction. Of respecting the professional who genuinely wants to go deeper.

It was a process of testing, mistakes, adjustments and many invisible hours. There were moments of frustration. Moments when it seemed easier to abandon the idea. But every time I received a message from someone saying, “this article helped me rethink my strategy,” I was reminded why I was doing it.

CRE is not a wall.
It is a way of sustaining a project that demands real commitment.

Because these pages are not quick content. They are considered reflection. They are honest analysis. They are distilled experience. And that requires sacrifice.

Today, when I look back, what I feel is not fatigue. It is gratitude.

To those who read attentively.
To those who disagree respectfully.
To those who share the articles with their teams.
To those who choose to support the project by subscribing.

Thank you for understanding that knowledge has value.
Thank you for being part of this community that believes Hospitality can be more strategic, more conscious and more demanding.

If Lead Hospitality continues to grow, it is not only because of the person who writes. It is because of those who read with intent.

And that, in an industry where noise is constant, is deeply moving.
